Drop a photo here to start editing

or paste one with Ctrl + V · JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, PSD · never uploaded

Tip: File → Save project keeps every layer editable here. PSD files open with their layers, and File → Save as PSD opens with its layers in Photoshop, GIMP or Photopea.

Open a photo or make a new picture to use this tool.

Click something on the picture to select it. Drag to move, pull a corner to resize, use the round handle to turn. Arrow keys nudge (Shift for 10 px).

This layer is locked. Unlock it in Layers to move it.

With the selection

While something is selected, the brush, eraser and clone tools only paint inside it. To adjust or blur only part of a photo, copy the selection to a new layer, then use Adjustments or Filters on that layer.

  1. Alt+click a clean spot to copy from (or press Pick source).
  2. Paint over the blemish, wire or spot. Each stroke copies from the same distance away.

Strokes go to their own “Clone” or “Healing” layer above the photo, so the original is never changed.

These tools work on a photo layer.

Erase an object

Paint over a person, sign, wire or blemish (or select it), then press Erase. AI fills the gap from its surroundings.

The AI models run in your browser; your photo is never uploaded. Each model is downloaded once (26 MB for backgrounds, 5 MB for upscaling, 27 MB for erasing) and then remembered.

To change only part of the photo, select it with the Selection tool (M) and press Ctrl+J to copy it to its own layer, then adjust that layer.

About the Photo Editor

Photo Editor is a free, Photoshop-style editor that runs in your browser. Open or drop in a photo and crop it to any shape, rotate, flip or resize it, then fix the light and colour with Exposure, Contrast, Saturation, Warmth, Sharpen and Blur, or try one of 20 looks such as Vintage, Mono, Golden hour or Fade. Add text in 17 fonts, including Bangla fonts like Hind Siliguri and Baloo Da 2, with outline, shadow and background, or put emoji, stickers, arrows and shapes on top. Draw with a brush, erase parts of any layer, and stack several photos as layers you can move, hide, lock, fade and reorder. Every step can be undone, and you download the full-size result as JPG, PNG or WebP. Your photos never leave your device.

How to use it

  1. 1 Drop in a photo, choose one, or paste it with Ctrl + V.
  2. 2 Use the panels on the right: Crop & resize, Adjust, Filters, Text, Stickers & shapes and Draw. Drag anything on the photo to move it and its corners to resize or turn it.
  3. 3 Pick JPG, PNG or WebP and the quality, then press Download.

Frequently asked questions

Can I write Bangla on a photo?

Yes. Press “Add Bangla text” or type Bangla into any text box; the editor switches to a Bangla font such as Hind Siliguri, Noto Sans Bengali, Baloo Da 2, Tiro Bangla or Galada so the letters join correctly. You can type with Avro or any Bangla keyboard.

How do I make text easy to read on a busy photo?

Give it an outline or a shadow, or turn on a background colour behind the text. White text with a black outline, or yellow text with a shadow, stays readable on almost any picture.

Can I edit the text after adding it?

Yes, every text stays editable as its own layer until you download. Double-click it on the photo or change it in the Text panel, and use undo if you change your mind.

Is this photo editor really free?

Yes. There is no sign-up, no watermark and no limit on how many photos you edit, and you download the full-size result. The editor runs on your own device instead of a server, so it costs nothing to run.

Are my photos uploaded?

No. Your photo is opened and edited inside your browser, so it never leaves your computer or phone. Only your download format, quality and brush colour are remembered in this browser.

Does it work like Photoshop?

It covers the everyday Photoshop jobs: layers with opacity, hide and lock, crop, rotate and resize, light and colour adjustments, filters, text, shapes, brush and eraser, with unlimited undo. Selections, masks, curves and the clone tool are coming next.

Can I save my work as a PSD for Photoshop?

Yes. Choose File → Save as PSD (Ctrl + Shift + S). Every layer becomes its own Photoshop layer with the same name, opacity and visibility, so you can keep working in Photoshop, GIMP or Photopea. Text, shapes and stickers arrive as pixel layers. To keep text editable here, also use File → Save project.

Can I add Bangla text to a photo?

Yes. Press “Add Bangla text” or type Bangla into any text; the editor uses a Bangla font such as Hind Siliguri, Noto Sans Bengali, Baloo Da 2, Tiro Bangla or Galada so the letters join correctly.

How big can my photo be?

Photos up to 4096 pixels on the longest side open at full size; larger ones, such as 48 or 108 megapixel phone photos, are scaled down to 4096 pixels so every tool stays fast. With Resize the finished picture can be up to 8192 pixels wide and about 16 megapixels.

Can I make the background transparent?

Yes. Erase parts of the background photo and save as PNG or WebP; the erased areas stay transparent. To cut out a person automatically, use the Background Remover first and then open the result here.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes. It works in Chrome, Safari, Edge and Firefox on Android phones, iPhones, tablets and computers. Drag with one finger to move things and draw; use the zoom buttons to look closer.
